FLORENCE, AZ (CBS5) -

Three Californians were arrested and booked into jail on various drug charges after their vehicle was stopped for speeding in Pinal County.

A Pinal County Sheriff's Office spokesman said Tonette Harris, 36, of Compton, CA, Anthony Johnson, 44, of Long Beach, CA, and Rukiya Stocking, 30, also of Long Beach, were arrested about 9 a.m. Monday on eastbound Interstate 10 just outside of Red Rock.

All three said they were bound for Georgia, but gave conflicting details about their travel plans and relationships, the spokesman said.

They gave a PCSO deputy permission to search the vehicle, and a brown taped bundle containing 4.5 ounces of methamphetamine packed for sale were found in the rear speaker deck of a 2013 Dodge Charger driven by Harris, the spokesman said.

All three were arrested and booked into the Pinal County Jail for transportation of a dangerous drug, possession of a dangerous drug and possession of a dangerous drug for sale.

Harris was also arrested for possession of marijuana found in her purse, the spokesman said.
