LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A report revealed that neither driver was at fault in a two-vehicle accident involving a Texas Department of Public Safety trooper on Lufkin's Frank Avenue Thursday afternoon.

Trooper David Hendry, a DPS spokesman, said that Trooper Marc Slocum drove through the red light at the intersection of Frank Ave. and Webber Street, but he had his emergency lights flashing.

The other driver, Roman Cardenas, 25, of Lufkin came off of Webber Street and drove through a yellow light. When he did, his Toyota Scion was T-boned by Slocum's patrol SUV.

Hendry said that neither driver did anything wrong and that it was just an unfortunate accident. He said citations will "probably not" be issued to Slocum or Cardenas.

No one was injured in the accident.
