SHELBY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - A Monday night recount still put challenger Allison Harbison ahead of incumbent Rick Campbell in the Shelby County Judge race.

After the recount the vote totals were 1,633 votes for Harbison and 1,630 votes for Campbell. The previous totals were 1,629 and 1,628.
Harbison said that it was tense during the 5 hour recount.
"You are always nervous about it," Harbison said. "I was even nervous when I ran unopposed as clerk. It's always scary once you put your name on the ballot."
Late Monday night, Campbell hinted that his fight is not over yet.
"There are some things that I have to look at," Campbell said. "There are some ballots that look funny to me, and I am going to make up my mind what I am going to do in a couple of days."
Harbsion said her main focus right now will be to finish out her position as county clerk until the end of the year.
