Police search for suspect in gas station robbery

Tyler police are looking for a suspect involved in an overnight gas stationrobbery.

The robbery happened around 2 a.m., in the 4200 block of University Boulevard. Officers say a black male entered the Exxon across from the U.T. Tyler campus, pulled a handgun on the clerk and demanded money from the cash register.

The suspect then fled, driving off in what police believe may be a white Mercury Marquis. No one was hurt.
    
Police have not given any descriptions about the suspect at this time. If you have any information, you are asked to call Tyler police.
