NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - Following a traffic stop, Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 34-year--old Arcola man for felony possession of marijuana and seized seven pounds of marijuana.
William Michael Frederick is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a third-degree felony charge of possession of marijuana between 5 and 50 pounds. His bail was set at $15,000.
According to a press release, NCSO deputies made a traffic stop on a white Ford SUV. When the deputies approached the vehicle, they could smell the odor of marijuana and asked the driver about it. Frederick allegedly admitted to having some marijuana in the vehicle.
After the deputies did a probable cause search on the SUV, they allegedly found seven pounds of marijuana hidden inside a trash bag.
Frederick was arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County.
