No more lines for annual Angelina Co. Humane Society shot clinic going on now

LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

It's that time again for the Humane Society of Angelina County to host their annual low-cost shot clinic but this year they're doing things differently.

Instead of driving up and lining up at the shelter those wishing to get their pets a rabies shot can come by the Humane Society at 1102 John Redditt Drive and purchase vouchers until Wednesday March 26th.

The voucher system is new this year and will eliminate the long lines and wait that has been a problem in the past.

Costs:

$10 - Canine & Feline Rabies

$20 - Canine 7-way (parvovirus, coronavirus, distemper, adenovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, kennel cough, leptospirosis)

$20 - Feline 4-way (rhinotrachetis, calcivirus, panleukopenia, chlamydophilia lukemia)

$15 - Microchip & registration

You reddem you vouchers at West Loop Animal Clinic, 2517 Ted Trout Drive (Hwy 94), anytime during the month of March, Monday thru Friday during business hours (8 a.m. - 5 p.m. - closed for lunch noon to 1 p.m.)

Cats must be in carriers. Dogs must be on leashes. Your pets needs to be clean and free of fleas and ticks. If not, there may be an additional fee to pay at the time of service.
