LOUISVILLE, KY (KTRE) -

A woman who once attended Hudson ISD died in a motorcycle crash in Kentucky last week.

Kendra Crawford, 21, and her boyfriend, Christopher Walker, 22, were found dead hours after a motorcycle crash near Jeffersontown, Ky., last Tuesday, according to WAVE.

The victims were found dead hours later in two different yards in the 4100 block of Rivulet Court just north of Blankenbaker Parkway and Taylorsville Road hours later, police said. The wrecked motorcycle was located in a third yard.

According to investigators, Crawford and hit a sound barrier. Walker traveled a short distance farther before falling off the bike.

A MetroSafe supervisor said a neighbor heard a noise overnight and called authorities at 7:53 a.m. after locating the bodies.

The accident happened across the street from Karen Brumback.

"Breaks your heart to know someone's kids weren't coming home or didn't make it home last night," said Brumback.

Police say the victims were wearing motorcycle protective jackets but, no helmets were found at the scene. Police believe the victims were in their 20s.  The coroner has not released the names of the victims.

The two were dating and were apparently on their way home when they crashed.

Hudson ISD Superintendent Mary Ann Whiteker confirmed Crawford enrolled in Hudson High School in 2008 and left the school in February 2010. She did not graduate from Hudson.
