Super Sunday pushed back to March 30

NEW ORLEANS (WVUE) - The Mardi Gras Indians will have to wait another week to take to the streets.

Forecasts for Sunday show more rain coming to South East Louisiana, pushing back Super Sunday to March 30.

The annual festival will take place at A.L. Davis Park at 11 a.m. and the Mardi Gras Indian Tribes will begin marching at 1 p.m.

The procession will begin at Washington Ave. and LaSalle St.; moving onto Simon Bolivar Ave. then turning left onto Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.

From MLK Boulevard the parade will turn left onto Claiborne Ave. then turn left onto Washington Ave. before retuning to A.L. Davis Park for live music and festivities.
