Trinity woman dies from injuries suffered in February wreck

According to the Department of Public Safety, A trinity woman has died from complications suffered in a February wreck.

The notice was given to DPS Wednesday night about her death back on March 10.

DPS said that Judith Steele, 76, of Trinity was in a 2010 Honda Accord traveling south on Highway 19 at the Trinity River bridge when she was hit head on by a 1991 BMW 525i after it traveled into Steele's lane.

KTRE earlier reported that six people were involved. Two passengers had to be cut out and life flighted to a hospital.

Four other passengers were taken to hospitals by ambulance. While at the hospital, one of the passengers, Jack Baggerly, was arrested on outstanding drug possession warrant in Brazos County.

It is unclear if the driver of the BMW will face in charges at this time.
