Trinity woman dies from injuries suffered in February wreck

TRINITY, TX (KTRE) - According to the Department of Public Safety, A trinitywoman has died from complications suffered in a February wreck.

The notice was given to DPS Wednesday night about her deathback on March 10.

DPS said that Judith Steele, 76, of Trinity was in a 2010Honda Accord traveling south on Highway 19 at the Trinity River bridge when shewas hit head on by a 1991 BMW 525i after it traveled into Steele's lane.

KTRE earlierreported that six people were involved. Two passengers had to be cut outand life flighted to a hospital.

Four other passengers were takento hospitals by ambulance. While at the hospital, one of the passengers, Jack Baggerly,was arrested on outstanding drug possession warrant in Brazos County.

It is unclear if the driver of theBMW will face in charges at this time.
