NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 44-year-old woman on Sunday after she allegedly brandished a firearm during an argument that got physical over a home owner allowing her dogs into her house

Lavina C. Whiteside, 44, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail, on second-degree felony charge of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Her bail has been set at $10,000

According to the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Office, deputies were dispatched to a home on County Road 563 in reference to a disturbance in progress. When they got there, they learned that the complainant had been visiting her boyfriend when she allowed her dogs into the home

An argument ensued when Whiteside, the home owner, got angry over the other woman allowing the dogs into her home. The affidavit stated Whiteside said, "I'm going to kill you and your dogs."

After Whiteside picked up a firearm, she allegedly shoved the other woman with its stock.

Whiteside was arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
