Affidavit: Nacogdoches man found to be possession of PCP, drug paraphernalia, rifle

NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - After Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies executed a search warrant on a property in the 500 block of Hasley Street, they found more than 4 grams of PCP in a nearby shed, along with scales, packaging, and other items believed to be "used in the delivery and sale of narcotics.

Dale B. Hunt, 44, of Nacogdoches, is still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail on a first-degree felony charge of manufacture or delivery of a controlled substance between 4 and 200 grams and a Class A misdemeanor charge of unlawful possession of a firearm. Collectively, his bail has been set at $52,000.

In addition to the PCP and drug paraphernalia, the deputies also found a rifle inside a truck that was parked at the residence. The affidavit stated that Hunt was charged with unlawful possession of a firearm because he was convicted of assault-family violence in March 2010.

Hunt was arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
