Trinity man caught using employer's credit card for personal use

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The Trinity County Sheriff's Office arrested a man for credit card abuse after he was allegedly caught using his company's credit card to purchase gas for his personal vehicle.

Miguel Paniagua, 29, of Trinity was taken into to custody Tuesday afternoon.

According to Sheriff Woody Wallace, the credit card was given to Paniagua by Stevenson Distributors, his employer.

Wallace said since November Paniagua used about $600 on the card to purchase gasoline for his personal vehicle.

The credit card was only supposed to be used to pay for his work vehicle's gas.
