Belt goes 0-for-4 in Giants' win

SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in the Giants 5-4 10-inning win over the Colorado Rockies Sunday.

Batting from the No. 2 spot, Belt struck out in the first inning, flied out in the fourth, grounded out in the fifth and struck out in the eighth.

Belt has fallen in a four-way tie for the major-league lead with five home runs. Mark Trumbo leads the majors with six.

His batting average has fallen to .269.

He is tied for seventh in the majors with 16 strikeouts.

The Giants are off on Monday and open up a home series against the Los Angeles Dodgers Tuesday at 9:15 p.m.
