SAN AUGUSTINE COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - After Texas Department of Public Safety found an abandoned vehicle that had left the roadway and hit several culverts in San Augustine County on Saturday, further investigation resulted in a 44-year-old woman getting arrested for driving drunk with a child under the age of 15 in the car.
Tammy Stalinsky, of Crockett, is still being held in the San Augustine County Jail on a third-degree felony charge of DWI with a child under the age of 15 in the car.
According to a press release, DPS troopers responded to a one-vehicle crash on FM 353 in San Augustine County. When they got there, they found a 2006 Ford that had apparently left the road and hit several culverts.
