TOLEDO, OH (Toledo News Now) -

Toledo Police are looking for a burglary suspect they say can be easily identified by multiple tattoos on his neck and arms.

John Whittecar is currently wanted for Burglary, according to TPD. Police say he broke into an apartment, taking jewlrey and a gun. Police say Whittecar may have climbed up onto a balcony and into a second story window.

"We feel violated, for lack of a better term. It's someone standing in your own bedroom while you weren't there, that you don't know – someone standing right next to the place that you sleep at night and the place where your wife sleeps. It's just – it feels personal. It feels very personal, even if it's just stuff that they took, it's stuff they took from me," said John Mowrey, who's apartment was burglarized.

Whittecar is 5'9" tall, weighs 165 pounds and has brown hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on Whittecar's whereabouts is asked to call Crimestopper at 419-255-1111.
