Starting for the first time all season, former Nacogdoches Dragon Damion James scored six points and pulled in nine rebounds in the San Antonio Spurs' 104-98 loss to Houston Monday night.
James also recorded two assists and two personal fouls.
The Spurs signed James to a contract for the rest of the year on Sunday.
The Spurs host the Los Angeles Lakers Wednesday at 7 p.m.
