LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Lufkin's Bullritos restaurant has closed down, and Dickey's Barbecue Pit will be moving into that location at 4505 S. Medford Drive, #213.

The owner of the Lufkin Bullrito's also owns the Nacogdoches Bullritos. East Texas News put in a call to that location, and the manager said the owner has been looking to sell the Lufkin location for some time.

The owner of Dickey's Barbecue Pit made the owner of the Lufkin Bullritos a good offer. The manager of the Nacogdoches Bullritos said they have no plans to open a new location in Lufkin.

"We have a lot of foot traffic. We're hoping over here it will bring in more traffic because of all the shopping centers that are located by us," said Kimberly Clark, the owner of Dickey's Barbecue Pit.

Dickey's will be moving from its existing location at 4001 S. Medford Drive.
