LONGVIEW, TX (KLTV) -
Longview High School has got to be near the top when it comes to turning out college athletes.
Thirteen Lobos signed National Letters of Intent today to play a variety of sports at the next level including basketball, baseball, soccer, and volleyball.
A total of 21 Longview students from the class of 2014 will now be playing college athletics..
"It means a lot because we havent had too many guys sign for basketball in the past couple years," Cadell Williams said who signed to play with Navarro College. "Like you said its all about football and its nice to have other sports sign today."
Sam Scarborough who signed to play baseball at Tarleton State added, "It's a dream come true. I have always wanted to play college ball and I'm finally going to be able to do this."
Jared Pauley who is headed to play baseball at Tyler Junior College finished by saying, "The tradition here is excellent so I'm excited I get to play at the next level with alot of other names that have even gone on to play profressional sports.
