NACOGDOCHES, TX (KTRE) - We love Lucy and you should too. She's a 9-month-old Collie mix whose middle name should be calm as a cucumber.
"She was a stray with another dog, owner came in to reclaim the other dog and said that they had found her about 2 weeks prior in a creek bed and they kept her and ended up not wanting to reclaim her," said Kendra Burris with the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter.
One look in this pup's eyes and you'll fall in love.
"She was giving me soft kisses and not like the big tongue all over the face and just look at you with those big eyes and says take me home please," said Burris.
Lucy would love to curl up in your lap and love on you all day. She has good manners and a really sweet temperament and is just looking for someone to want her."
She's good on a leash, good with kids and would adjust well to any home. She's not spayed yet and is in good health. She'll probably stay pretty close to the size she is now. She'll be a good fit as an inside/outside or both dog.
As usual, when adopting a BFF from the Nacogdoches Animal Shelter there is no fee.
