SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt went 1-for-4 with a run scored in the San Francisco Giants' 2-1 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers in San Francisco on Thursday.
Batting from the No. 6 spot, Belt singled in the second, struck out in the fourth, flied out in the seventh and grounded into a fielder's choice out in the ninth.
Batting .297 for the season, Belt is in a six-way tie for fourth place in home runs.
The Giants now travel to San Diego to kick off a series with the Padres. Friday's game starts at 9:10 p.m.
