A celebration of the East Texas oil boom was the focus of a weekend festival. The annual Gusher Days festival was held in downtown Gladewater.
The old fashioned event featured everything from carnival rides, to arts and crafts, and an old fashioned soda booth.
And of course food!
Funnel cakes, to turkey legs, and a classic car show.
The longtime spring festival is designed to celebrate Gladewater's oil town history.
The East Texas Gusher Days board uses proceeds from the carnival, ticket sales and vendors to fund local scholarships.
