NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Nacogdoches County Sheriff's deputies arrested three people and charged them with manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance following a traffic stop Friday and a search of a residence on County Road 104.
Wendy Cline, 34, of Garrison, Lisa Lintz, 48, of Nacogdoches, and Billy McCarta, 40, of Garrison, are still being held in the Nacogdoches County Jail. Each person was charged with first-degree felony manufacture and delivery of a controlled substance. No bail has been set at this time.
According to a press release, NCSO deputies search a home on CR 104 at approximately 7 p.m. Friday after they received information about drug activity at the residence. They made contact with the home owner, Lintz, and got consent to search the home.
During the search, the NCSO deputies seized 2 grams of crystal methamphetamine that was packaged individually in plastic baggies for distribution. Lintz was arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
The press release stated that Cline and McCarta were arrested after a traffic stop on CR 104 at approximately 1 a.m. They were stopped because they were traveling without their headlights on. The deputies noticed that Cline and McCarta were acting suspicious and nervous and got consent to search the vehicle.
Deputies allegedly found 16 grams of methamphetamine and Hydrocodone pills inside the vehicle. The methamphetamine was packaged in individual baggies for distribution, according to the press release.
Cline and McCarta were arrested at the scene and transported to the Nacogdoches County Jail.
