Belt goes 2-for-4 in Giants' loss

DENVER, CO (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt went 2-for-4 with a run scored in the San Francisco Giants' 8-2 loss to the Colorado Rockies Monday.

Batting from the No. 6 spot, Belt lined out in the second inning, singled in the fourth, struck out in the sixth and singled in the ninth.

With a .304 batting average, Belt is in a seven-way tie for second place with six home runs this season.

The Giants continue the series against the Rockies at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday.
