Houston Co. Sheriff's Office looking for 'persons of interest' in statewide check forgery case

HOUSTON COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

Investigators with the Houston County Sheriff's Office are seeking the public's help in locating two "persons of interest" in a statewide string of forgery incidents.

A status update on the Houston County Sheriff's Office Facebook page stated that the two men in the pictures are not considered suspects. They are "persons of interest that might be able to shed light on a string of forgeries" CSO investigators are working at this time.

The white male in one of the pictures was at a Target store in Lake Jackson, Texas, the status update stated. The black man in the second picture was at a Walmart store in Conroe.
