SMITH COUNTY, TX (KLTV) - On Monday at 9:40 a.m., a 911 call was received by the Smith County Sheriff's Office. The caller said someone was burglarizing a home in western Smith County, in the 11000 block of Sycamore Street.

The homeowner returned home while deputies were in route, and she found several suspects leaving her residence.  The people fled in a black pickup truck, with deputies in pursuit.

When the pickup truck stopped in the 12000 block of Highway 64 West, one of the passengers, identified as Steven Silva, fled on foot into a nearby wooded area. A second deputy chased Silva on foot and apprehended him.

The first deputy stayed with the vehicle and took two other suspects into custody. They were Natalie Willars, 24, and Johnathon Ballesteros, 22. There was also a four-year-old child in the truck. The child has been released to his mother, a relative of Willars.
Items taken from the home were recovered from the fleeing vehicle.

Willars and Ballesteros has been charged with burglary of a habitation and are being held on a $35,000 bond. Ballesteros was arrested previously in February for criminal trespassing  by Tyler police. Silva, 22, has been charged with burglary of a habitation and evading arrest and is being held on a $40,000 bond. Silva served time in 2009 for burglary of habitation and again in 2012 for theft, parole violation, and evading arrest.
All three suspects are currently in jail.
