SAN FRANCISCO, CA (KTRE) - Former Hudson Hornet Brandon Belt went 0-for-4 with four strikeouts in the San Francisco Giants' 4-1 win over the Cleveland Indians Sunday afternoon.
Batting from the No. 3 spot, Belt's strikeouts came in the first, third, fifth and eighth innings.
Batting .263 for the season, Belt is in an eight-way tie for fourth place in home runs with seven.
He is tied for ninth place in the league with 31 strikeouts.
The Giants open a home series against the San Diego Padres at 9:15 p.m. Monday.
