(RNN) - If you've been wondering what Dolly Parton will throw your way in her upcoming album, wait no longer.

Parton's entire upcoming album Blue Smoke is available for your listening pleasure via NPR First Listen.

The bluegrass album opens with a classic sounding song of the genre, Blue Smoke, takes listeners back to Parton's roots in the song Home and throws in a few spruced up covers with Bob Dylan's Don't Think Twice, Bon Jovi's Lay Your Hands On Me and even a revamped version of the 19th century murder ballad Bank of the Ohio.

"On this CD I think there are all of the colors of my life in all the areas of music that you've allowed me to dabble in through the years," Parton said in an interview with Rolling Stone.

Blue Smoke drops May 13 and can be pre-ordered via iTunes.

Coldplay announces lyric search; drops new music

Good news Coldplay fans, the band is handing out the lyrics to their new album before it ever hits stores. The catch? You have to go on a scavenger hunt to find them.

In an effort to promote their upcoming album, Ghost Stories, the band has engaged in a "lyrics hunt" with fans on Twitter.

Coldplay recently announced they had hidden lyric sheets from Ghost Stories in actual ghost story books residing in libraries across the world. They post hints to their Twitter account, @coldplay, and fans in the area race to find the hidden lyrics. Once the lyrics are found, a picture of the lyric sheet is uploaded to Twitter (pretty clever marketing, if you ask us).

The lyrics are in a total of nine countries and have already been found in Barcelona, Helsinki, Singapore and Mexico City. One very lucky winner will win a trip to see the band play in London on July 1.

Coldplay also unveiled A Sky Full of Stars on Tuesday, a collaboration with Avicii that will be featured on Ghost Stories.

Avicii, the new master of EDM, has a pretty heavy hand in the tune which can be heard in the pounding piano lines as well as the bass drum during the chorus. Chris Martin's dramatic voice ties it all together to produce a catchy new Coldplay tune full of synthy pulsations.

The release of A Sky Full of Stars comes shortly after Martin revealed to BBC that much of the album was influenced by his recent split from his wife of a decade, Gwyneth Paltrow. He also took the opportunity to unveil another tune from the album, Always in My Head.

Ghost Stories drops May 19.

Don't put dirt on Nashville's grave just yet

ABC has remained cryptically silent about whether the (extremely well-written) country drama Nashville will get another year on the TV box. But the fans have already voted with their dollars. Nashville: On the Record, the live album from the show's recent concert at the Ryman Auditorium, hit No. 1 on iTunes Friday.

And more music is on the way - the show's fourth soundtrack, The Music of Nashville: Season 2, Volume 2 is slated for digital release on Tuesday, in addition to an expanded deluxe edition exclusive to Target.

Nashville has always had the potential to be a synergistic powerhouse, drawing both TV viewers and generating iTunes downloads through its original, authentic songwriting. Top if off with a series of live, sold-out concerts across the country and the show is a breeding ground of earning potential.

But sometimes powerhouses take time to build.

For the sake of some incredible songwriting and incredible story lines, Nashville deserves another season.

If ABC is smart enough to take a long-term view of the show's potential, they'll get it.

Just don't put dirt on Nashville's grave just yet.

Live version of 'Grease' to hit TV in 2015

Fox is taking viewers back to Rydell High, for summer nights and the hand jive with a live TV musical broadcast of Grease, set to air sometime in 2015.

The three-hour live broadcast will feature a young ensemble cast and all of the classic music that fans fell in love with in the original Broadway show turned film.

Grease is best known for songs such as You're the One That I Want, Summer Nights, Greased Lightning, We Go Together and Hopelessly Devoted to You.

"From Broadway to film, and across generations, Grease is one of the most beloved musical stories ever told - and we can't wait to bring it to our air in a spectacular live event," said Shana C. Waterman, senior vice president of event series for Fox, in a release.

And finally ...

If you're familiar with The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, you're familiar with the lip sync battle. If you aren't, prepare to be entertained.

In the lip sync battle celebrities pick two songs to lip sync and then challenge Fallon to a battle. Whoever lip syncs the best, wins.

And in one of the most epic battles we've seen, Emma Stone used lightning fast lyrics to challenge Fallon - and dominated.

By throwing Blues Traveler's Hook up against Fallon's version of Iggy Azalea's Fancy and then bringing down the house with DJ Khaled's All I Do Is Win … Stone's battle win was well deserved.

Just watch, listen and learn. With a little work, you too can lip sync like a pro.
