PHOENIX (CBS5) -

Arizona Department of Transportation workers will make asphalt repairs on an 11-mile stretch of Interstate 17, requiring some restrictions Monday through Thursday.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said crews will make repairs and apply oil to the pavement between Sunset Point Rest Area and Cordes Junction.

Work will be from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. each day between mileposts 251 and 262.

The work will require alternating lane restrictions in both directions and intermittent shoulder closures during work hours, ADOT said. Delays were expected to be minimal.

The speed limit will be reduced to 45 mph from 7 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. in the work zones.
