Happy Friday, everybody! We hope you're having a good day and are looking forward to an excellent weekend.

Here are some stories for you to peruse while you're waiting for quittin' time:

1.  Willie Nelson's old tour bus is for sale in East Texas, just waiting to get back on the road again. It's a 1983 Eagle bus and it sleeps eight people. It's said to be in great working condition. Find out more here.

2. Speaking of Willie, there is a lot of live music happening across East Texas this weekend, and you need to get out to enjoy it. There are also farmers markets opening, free movies, Cinco de Mayo celebrations and much more! Check out the list here.

3. CAUTION: Strong winds are expected to help dry out grass and brush this weekend potentially leading to an increase in wildfire activity. Texas A&M Forest Service urges residents to be mindful of local burn bans and exercise preventative measures to remain safe.

4. East Texas Men in Harmony live up to their name, and you can hear them for yourself. The East Texas Men in Harmony have a performance called Barbershop Through The Years May 10, 2014 at Grace Community High School at 2:30 and 7 PM. Admission is $15 for adults and $5 for kids.

5. We've updated our farmers' market list so you can find the opening for the market nearest you! Many are kicking off this weekend and even include live music. Check out our list here.

6. Authorities are investigating a fire in Rusk County after an abandoned home burned to the ground today on an oil lease.

7. The autopsy was returned on an elderly East Texas woman who was found dead in her Kaufman home in March. The Dallas County medical examiner concluded that 85-year-old Dorothy Hamilton died after she was mauled by dogs. The autopsy said Hamilton had lacerations and puncture wounds on her body.
