LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

A big, and bright season is ahead for the Angelina Arts Alliance.

The Angelina County Chamber of Commerce hosted their monthly First Friday Luncheon on May 2, and guest speaker, Tracey Pinkerton, who is the Executive Director of the Angelina Arts Alliance, excitedly told guests about this upcoming season.

This season will be called "Live from Lufkin!" and will host a number of shows, including two Broadway hits.

Despite the bright lights, and big city music, Pinkerton says she's most excited about working with the community.

"This is my first season really producing the shows, presenting them myself as the executive director. So, I'm really excited. We've got, I can't tell you yet, but we've got two Broadway shows and I'm really excited about that and a great show for Christmas," Pinkerton said.

AAA said some of those shows will include "Asleep at the Wheel," "the Nutcracker," "Million Dollar Quartet," and many others.
