LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - According to Lufkin police, a man has been arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot up a bank after being overcharged.

Lufkin police officer David Casper says that Jack Bradley, 63 of Lufkin, had issues with First Convenience Bank, located in the Lufkin Walmart, after the bank overcharged him. He allegedly called the bank's 1-800 number, and left a message saying that he was in the parking lot with a gun, and was going to shoot everyone in the bank and then himself.

Because of the nature of the call, the info was sent to the police. Lufkin PD detained  Bradley during a traffic stop, where no weapons were found. He apologized for the threat.

No charges have been filed at this time, but police say Bradley is being detained due to mental health issues.
