TUSKEGEE, AL (WSFA) -

You've probably heard about some unusual world record setting attempts before, but you may not have heard about one like this one in Tuskegee. It combines body painting and sky diving.

Dwayne Flowers is said to be a world famous body painter. He set out to make the first in-air body painting record. The attempt happened at Motion Airfield in Tuskegee.

Keep in mind the jumpers are traveling at about 120 miles per hour as they plummet to earth.
So Flowers not only had to be good, he had to be fast.

"Free falling from 14,000 feet and I have about 40 seconds to get both of our logos onto the chest of Mattie the big cheese at skydive Tuskegee and as far as we know it's never been done we've done our research so this will be the first attempt and it will be an unofficial record until all the documentation and the footage is submitted to Guinness which we are working on."

This was not only an attempt to set a new world record. The participants also raised money for Chive, an organization which helps fund those in need who need help in a hurry.

Now the team will wait to see if the Guiness Book of World Record folks give them a world record.
