Motorcycle clubs and others came together for a symbolic ride to pay tribute to Amanda, Gina and Michelle, ending on Seymour Avenue.

A year ago, local motorcycle clubs put together a ride to celebrate the three girls being found alive. Wednesday, hundreds of them gathered again for a ride through the city that ended on Seymour Avenue where the house of horrors used to stand.

"To show support, to show love," said rider Casey Kekic. "Come together and say hey we're thinking about you. We're happy to have you out. Freedom is here."

"I think it's a good thing that all the MC's and the social clubs and the car clubs came together for something positive for the city," said rider Jamal Crawford

"I have four girls O.K.?" said rider David Miranda. "I can only imagine the pain that her father went through for 10 years."

After a brief ceremony they released balloons into the air, then spent time reflecting on what happened here one year ago when the girls were finally freed.

"It snuck up on me," Crawford said. "It came so fast. The anniversary came so fast.  When it came up it touched my heart again, all over again like it was yesterday."
