2 arrested in Opelika for allegedly trafficking cocaine

OPELIKA, AL (WTVM) -

Opelika police have nabbed two suspects, charging them with trafficking cocaine.

Laysonya Johnson, 26, and Michael Holloway, 35, were arrested Thursday morning during a warrant search of a home in the 100 block of Columbus Parkway in Opelika.

Officials with the narcotics unit found 70 grams of powder and 'crack' cocaine valuing $6,000.

Both Johnson and Holloway are being held in the Lee County Detention Center. A mugshot for Holloway has not been made available at this time.
