Crime of the Week: Diboll man allegedly stole credit cards, handgun from 2 vehicles

LUFKIN, TX (News Release) -

Crime Stoppers of Lufkin wants your help locating Randall Cyrus Dobbs. As of May 12, 2014, Dobbs is wanted on three arrest warrants and law enforcement is seeking two additional warrants.

April 25, credit cards and a handgun were stolen from two vehicles in Lufkin. The following day, Randall Dobbs used the stolen credit cards to make purchases totaling more than $3,000. An investigation revealed that Dobbs, who has a previous felony conviction, also possessed the stolen handgun. The handgun and the items purchased have been recovered but Dobbs has not been located.

The active warrants for Dobbs' arrest are for the offenses of burglary of a vehicle and credit card abuse, and the warrants being sought are for theft of a firearm and felon in possession of a firearm.

Randall Cyrus Dobbs is a 32-year-old, white male with brown hair and hazel eyes. He stands approximately six feet tall and weighs approximately 160 pounds.

The images of Randall Dobbs shown here were captured December of 2011, but the barcode tattoo on the back of his neck has not changed.
