AUGUSTA, GA (WFXG) -

An Augusta dad used a razor blade to defend his daughter from her ex-boyfriend, leaving the man with cuts all over his face, according to the Richmond County Sheriff's Office.

After the fight was over, the ex-boyfriend, 48-year-old Terrance Clifford, was the one who was arrested and charged with two counts of simple battery, according to the sheriff's office.

Clifford showed up at his ex-girlfriend's house on Cedar Street around 10:45 p.m., according to an incident report. The two started arguing about a debit card.

When the ex-girlfriend and her father tried to make Clifford leave, he punched them, according to the report. The father grabbed an old razor blade and used it in the fight.

Clifford then left in a blue Subaru, the father told deputies. Deputies later found Clifford at Georgia Regents Medical Center. He was arrested after he was treated for his wounds.
