ONALASKA, TX (KTRE) -

The Onalaska Police Department is seeking the public's help in locating four men who burglarized the Tobacco Barn at the town's Brookshire Bros. store early Thursday morning.

According to a status update that appeared on the Onalaska Police Department's Facebook page, a 911 caller reported a burglary in progress at approximately 2:25 a.m. Thursday. The caller said he could see four suspects in the building via a live video feed.

Sgt. Josh Alexander was dispatched to the scene, but by the time he got there, the four suspects had fled in a gray or silver four-door car. The vehicle was seen heading west on U.S. 190 towards San Jacinto County, the status update stated.

While they were in the store, the suspects stole an unknown amount of cigarettes. They also burglarized the ATM and left with the cash. According to the Onalaska Police Department, the suspects were inside the Tobacco Barn for less than two minutes.

The Facebook status update described the suspects as four black men. Two of the men wore masks and were dressed in black clothes and gloves. The third male suspect was wearing a black hoodie, tan pants, and gloves. The fourth male was wearing an "ECKO ULTD" hoodie and black pants.

Anyone with any information on the burglary should call the Onalaska Police Department at 9(936) 646-5376 or the Polk County Crime Stoppers hot line at (936) 327-STOP.
