Angelina County law enforcement officials arrested the suspect in the Crime Stoppers of Lufkin Crime of the Week Thursday.

Detective J.B. Smith, a spokesman for the Lufkin Police Department, confirmed that Randall Cyrus Dobbs, 32, of Diboll, was arrested Thursday in connection to three outstanding arrest warrants for two burglary of a vehicle charges and a credit card abuse charge.

On April 25, credit cards and a handgun were stolen from two vehicles in Lufkin. The following day, Randall Dobbs allegedly used the stolen credit cards to make purchases totaling more than $3,000, according to the Lufkin Police Department.

An investigation revealed that Dobbs, who has a previous felony conviction, also possessed the stolen handgun. The handgun and the items purchased have been recovered.
