Trinity Co.Sheriff's Office: Man who allegedly stole vehicle, debit card still on the run

TRINITY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

The Trinity County Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating a 52-year-old man suspected of stealing a vehicle and a debit card.

"The Trinity County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a vehicle and debit card," a press release stated. "Kenneth Dale Goff, 52 years old, was seen driving the vehicle and has used the debit card numerous times in Trinity and surrounding counties."

According to the press release, Goff has called and made threats to the victim. In addition, he has called the Trinity County Sheriff's Office and made false reports.

Goff has allegedly said that he "has automatic weapons, and lot of people are going to get hurt," the press release stated. The Houston Police Department found the abandoned vehicle Thursday night.

The press release cautioned citizens to not approach Goff.

Anyone who has seen Goff or has information on his whereabouts is urged to contact Trinity County Sheriff's Office at (936) 642-1424.
