LIVINGSTON, TX (KTRE) -

The Livingston Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding a sex offender that failed to comply with sex offender registration rules.

Currently there are outstanding felony arrest warrants for Ronald Lee Pursley.

According to a press release, the Livingston Police Department received information that a convicted sex offender had been living at a home in Livingston without complying with Texas' sex offender registration law.

Further investigation revealed that Pursley had once been registered with the Polk County Sheriff's Office, but he had moved and failed to report his new address. The investigation continued and both agencies tried to locate Pursley.

Anyone with any information about Pursley's whereabouts is urged to contact Detective Leon Middleton at the Livingston Police Department at (936) 327-3117 or Polk County Crime Stoppers at (936) 327-7867.

Callers will remain anonymous and may be eligible to receive a cash reward of up to $1,000 if the information provided leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.
