A nice day in May for 'Cold in July'

You may know names such as Michael C. Hall, Don Johnson and Sam Shepard. But not many people outside Nacogdoches know Joe Lansdale. That may change soon as the East Texas author teams up with some Hollywood heavy hitters to bring you "Cold in July," a film based on Lansdale's book. And while it's opening in select theaters nationwide tonight, Lansdale sat down with our own Cheyenne Simpson in Nacogdoches to talk about is new movie.

In San Augustine County, a woman who claims she was only trying to re-start her family church is waiting for her day in court after being charged with fraud. Maleeha Kamal has that story at 6.

Also at 6, Donna McCollum explains how advocates are working to remind you to keep your children out of hot cars.

And at 10, Caleb Beames breaks down what's available for you to observe our fallen soldiers this Memorial Day.
