A Nacogdoches woman is recovering from injuries after she was hit by a car while jogging. Her husband credits a dog she never met before for helping save her life. Now, authorities are trying to find out who hit the woman. Unfortunately, the only one who can give clues is this dog. We'll have that story at 6.

School is out but some students are dropping back in to make sure they stay fed during the summer time. Lufkin ISD kicked off their summer food service program today to ensure students get three meals a day. But organizers say they are off to a slow start. Francesca Washington has that story at 6.
