SHELBY COUNTY, TX (KTRE) - Investigators with the Shelby County Sheriff's Office are asking for the public's help for new information in a case where someone dumped several dead dogs in a garbage bag on County Road 2657 on June 6.
Shad Sparks, a spokesman for the Shelby County Sheriff's Office, said the small dogs were dumped in the Rogers Harbor community. SCSO investigators went to the scene and obtained photographs of the dead dogs, and Sparks said the photos are too graphic in nature to be released to the public.
If anyone has any information, he or she is urged to contact Center Crime Stoppers. Center Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for any information reading an arrest or indictment in the case. All calls and cash rewards are completely anonymous.
