HUNTINGTON, TX (KTRE) - The Huntington Meat Market formerly known as Dean's in Huntington will be re-opening and serving up customer favorites in 2 weeks.
Former owner's Dean and Michelle McMullen are back in the kitchen and will cooking up home-made dishes like cornbread, chicken and stuffing and chicken and dumplings every day.
McMullen came out of retirement to re-boot the restaurant and meat market after he sold it almost four years ago to the previous owner.
"It's going to be the same buffet line but it will be our own old recipes and our old portions. If you come in here you're going to get a plate of food," said McMullen.
The grand re-opening will be Monday June 23. The doors will open at 7 am and close at 9 PM.
Huntington Meat Market and Deli is on North 3rd street in Huntington.
