LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) - Crews spent Wednesday setting up approximately 100 pieces of the artifacts belonging to "Dinosaur" George Blasing.
The exhibit has fossils belonging to reptiles and mammals from various pre-historic eras.
"Many of the pieces are of species on display actually walked around the East Texas area," Dinosaur George said. "The thing that I think is the most interesting myself is the skull of the T-rex; not because its so gigantic but because he has bite marks on his skull where probably another larger T-rex actually attacked this one and tried to kill it."
Dinosaur George is a self taught paleontologist with more than 35 years of research. He is also the co-creator of Jurassic Fight Club, a 12 part series on history channel.
The exhibit will be set up in several areas throughout Kurth Memorial Library. The exhibit will be on display starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday and running through 5 p.m. on Friday.
