Nacogdoches woman arrested after walking into liquor store with meth and weapon

NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX (KTRE) -

A Nacogdoches woman is in jail after authorities say she walked in to a liquor store with a weapon and a large amount of methamphetamine.

Cpl. Landon Lowery with the Nacogdoches County Sheriff's Department said deputies were called out to the Hill's Drive-thru Liquor store Friday night after 26 year-old Nadia Stephens of Nacogdoches allegedly walked into the store carrying a weapon and 4.1 grams of meth.

Lowery said Stephens is charged with possession of a controlled substance and unauthorized carrying of a weapon in a liquor store

Stephens also had an outstanding warrant for possession of a controlled substance.

Stephens is being held on $75,000 bond.
