LUFKIN, TX (KTRE) -

Junior Ranger Camp began Monday at the Naranjo Museum of Natural History in Lufkin. The camps look to inspire young children with various activities focusing on paleontology.

There are different weeks with different ages groups. The events vary depending on the age.

"We are really blessed in this area because we have a lot of different camps for kids with different interest," said Veronica Amoe, the  Naranjo Museum of Natural History's director. "For kids who love dinosaurs, love learning, love science, and natural history, this is a great camp to plug into."
