(WMC-TV) – Mid-South relief groups need your help with the continuing tornado recovery effort happening in Arkansas.

The small towns of Vilonia and Mayflower still have quite a bit to clean up after an EF4 tornado swept through, killing 15 people.

According to the Log Cabin Democrat, out of the 700 people affected by the storm, fewer than a third of those impacted by the tornado have found permanent housing. Right now, the most needed donations to relief efforts in the area are furniture and small appliances.

How can you help?

Arkansas Dream Center has an entire section of its website dedicated to tornado relief. If you need assistance, want to volunteer, or donate materials or money to help in the recovery process, click here: http://www.ardreamcenter.tv/tornado/

The American Red Cross is also helping its own way. If you would like to help people affected by disasters like tornadoes, floods, and other crises, you can donate by texting the word REDCROSS to 90999. Doing so will make a $10 donation that will be billed to your cell phone.
