MEMPHIS, TN -
(WMC) - A woman was killed in a two-car crash at Mt. Moriah and South Mendenhall roads, in front of the Memphis Police Department east precinct. 

Two others were injured in the accident that happened around 8 p.m. Tuesday. They remain in critical condition Wednesday.

Memphis police said a Chevrolet Camaro appeared to lose control and drive into oncoming traffic, hitting a Nissan Maxima.

The Camaro's driver was taken in extremely critical condition to the hospital.

The passenger in the Maxima was Kiva Johnson. The 36-year-old died on the scene. That car's driver was taken away in critical condition.
